Lauren Cregor is a composer, singer, pianist and songwriter who has written for stage, screen, and beyond. She composed for the acclaimed off-Broadway company, Waterwell, which produced nine original pieces in New York and was dubbed “Brilliant, original and inspired” by the New York Times.

Lauren’s film music has been screened across the globe, including the BFM International Festival in London. A recent piece was included in the Topic series "The Accidental Wolf" starring Broadway legend Kelli O'Hara and written/directed by Arian Moayed (Succession).

As a singer / songwriter, Lauren has released two albums with her band and performs all around NYC.

She has had the honor of composing for New York’s SYREN Modern Dance.

Her latest musical adventure is writing for, and teaching, the youngest of music lovers. She revels in the unabashed joy with which children receive, process, and produce music. An album of her original children’s songs will come out soon ...

 

She is co-director of Sing LIC, a program of children’s choirs that provides endless opportunities to fine-tune ears, build confidence, encourage teamwork, and make a joyful noise.

A recipient of the "Meet The Composer" grant, Lauren has worked with youth of all ages to harness the magic needed to share the music in their heads with the world around them.
